Youth Director: Emily
Tabb
Emily has been working with the youth since June 2006. Bobby and Emily felt God calling them to work
with the youth at Forest Grove United Methodist Church in 2005 and have been blessed to be there ever since.
Emily
has a teaching degree and has 3 years of previous youth ministry experience. She has been involved in the Oregon-Idaho
camping programs since she was 16 as a camp counselor or a dean. Emily feels closest to God when she is outdoors
experiencing God's love and beauty.
Bobby and Emily met while doing a Tipi Camp at Suttle Lake United Methodist
Camp. They have been married since June 12, 2004 and have a son, Chase.
Youth Program:
Being
a part of the Forest Grove UM youth group is a place where youth experience the love and acceptance of Christ
and others. Everyone is welcome and differences are embraced. God is the center of all we do. We provide an environment
where youth can explore, develop, and question their relationship with Christ.
